Bethlehem, PA April 22, 2009 - The 2nd Annual Administrative Excellence Awards Luncheon was held today at the Hotel Bethlehem. This year, three Lehigh Valley administrative professionals were selected to receive the competitive award.
Integrity Personnel, Inc. sponsors this award to recognize employees who make outstanding contributions to local companies. Kevin Flemming, Integrity’s president, explained that this year’s nominees demonstrate the high degree of skills and professionalism required to run modern offices. “I am impressed with the level of achievement and dedication that these employees bring to their organizations. They show us that excellence can be attained if you care more than others think is wise, and expect more than others think is possible.”
The individuals honored at the luncheon were Ruth VanWhy of Viamedia; Cindi Roth of Allentown Toy Manufacturing Co.; and Ruthann Phillips of Traditions of Hanover. All three winners were selected by a panel of local executives who reviewed nominations submitted by employers from across the Lehigh Valley.
The Administrative Excellence Award is presented to an individual (employed in an administrative or office support position) who demonstrates achievement in three key areas: tenure with their employer; specific contributions to their business; and demonstrative professional skills and education.
After an opening speech by Flemming, each award winner received a testimonial from their manager accompanied by a slide show of their company and co-workers. The audience included enthusiastic personnel from both the winners’ organizations, corporate clients of Integrity Personnel, and businesses of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
